Grid planning with data expertise

We ensure a safe, high-performance and efficient electricity grid, thereby guaranteeing a reliable electricity supply for our customers. To this end, we plan, build and operate our grid, ensuring that electricity is available wherever it is needed, around the clock whenever possible.

At the same time, we are making our electricity grid fit for the new world of energy. We enable the connection of photovoltaic systems, heat pumps and charging stations for electric cars, and securely integrate new forms of production and consumption into the grid. To this end, we are systematically strengthening the electricity grid, modernising it intelligently and expanding it in line with demand and in a future-proof way – for a reliable electricity supply today and for generations to come.

Customers become producersOver 9,000 photovoltaic systems feed their surplus electricity into our grid. Around 1,050 systems are added every year.The grid continues to grow185,000 grid connections are in operation, with 2,000 added every year. New customers also use our grid according to their needs.

At the same time, we are preparing our electricity grid for the new energy world. We enable the connection of photovoltaic systems, heat pumps and charging stations for electric vehicles, and safely integrate new forms of production and consumption into the grid. To this end, we are systematically strengthening the electricity grid, modernising it intelligently and expanding it in line with needs and with the future in mind – for a reliable power supply today and for generations to come.
