These are the facts about the trainee programme

Here you will find the key information about the start, duration, areas of work and general conditions of your trainee programme at BKW.

The programmes usually start at the beginning of September or the beginning of March.The programme lasts 18 months. As a rule, you will spend six months in each of three different departments.We determine which areas of work you will get to know before advertising the position and publish them in the job advertisement.There are programmes in various specialist fields, depending on the needs of our departments – for example, in electrical engineering, energy management or engineering.During your time as a trainee, you will work on many exciting projects. You can contribute your interests and career goals and continue to develop in a targeted way.During your time as a trainee in Switzerland, you will earn at least CHF 79,500 or more, depending on your degree.Your personal support throughout the entire programme is an important priority for us – both for professional and personal questions.
